Soprano, de son vrai nom Saïd M’Roumbaba, est un rappeur, chanteur, auteur-compositeur, animateur de télévision et acteur franco-comorien, né le à Marseille.
Il débute dans le rap en 1995 avec le groupe Psy 4 de la rime, qu'il forme notamment avec son cousin Alonzo et son ami d'enfance Sya Styles.
En 2007, il lance sa carrière solo avec l'album Puisqu'il faut vivre, qui est certifié disque d'or en deux mois et demi, et lui vaut le prix du meilleur artiste de musiques urbaines aux Trophées des arts afro-caribéens. S'ensuivent deux autres opus : La Colombe (2010) et Le Corbeau (2011).
En 2014, son quatrième album solo, Cosmopolitanie, porté par les tubes Cosmo, Clown, Fresh Prince et Millionnaire, est certifié disque de platine en quelques semaines. Il assure un virage pop-rap, que le chanteur confirme dans les opus L'Everest (2016, incluant En feu), Phœnix (2018), Chasseur d'étoiles (2021) et Freedom (2024-2025, en trois parties).
Au cinéma, il est à l'affiche de la comédie Marius et les gardiens de la cité phocéenne de Tony Datis, sortie en 2025.
