Yaklaşık 10 tane albüm projesi ve 25 tane mixtape projesi bulunmaktadır. Bazılarına göre Gossip isimli diss parçası yüzünden 50 Cent'in kariyeri düşüşe geçmiştir. 2008-2009 arasında Young Money Entertainment isimli bir plak şirketi kurmuştur. Rolling Stone tarafından en çok tur veren rapçi seçilmiştir ve I'm Still Music Tour 2 ile birlikte 54.000.000 $ hasılat yakalamıştır. NBA tarafından gelen açıklamaya göre de kendi biletleri bile bu kadar satmıyormuş.
2008'de yaptığı Tha Carter III albümü sadece ilk haftasında 1.005.400 adet satmıştır. Hapisten dönüş albümü olan ve serinin devamı olan albüm Tha Carter IV'da ilk haftasında 1.000.690 adet satmıştır ve satış sebebiyle bazı sanatçılar ve otoriteler tarafından Twitter aracılığıyla tebrik edilmiştir. 2008'den beri kimseye pay vermemektedir.
